Worth every penny
By: Vince on 24 December 2021Stock '18 XC60 T6 Momentum (AWD) wallows way, way, way too much on side-2-side weight transfer. Installed a Front Strut Tower Bar with little expectations and was very surprised that it actually reduced that wallowing a bit. Then followed fellow swedepseed member's (believe it's JT who wrote the first review) advice to install this bar/brace next and cannot believe how much more it has reduced that wallowing. Unboxing and removing stock bolts were the hardest part of this install; once the bolts were off, took about a minute to install the bar. With just a FSTB and this bar; car feels much more stable now in turns and rapid transitions. SPA chassis (with standard suspension) is way too soft from the factory. I would buy this bar at the normal price but the Black Friday Price makes this that much sweeter of a purchase.

XC60(SPA) - T5 AWD - Rear Subframe Brace
By: JT on 30 August 2021I didn't expect much improvement installing a rear subframe brace on the XC60, but for sure it does improve the overall feel of the chassis. Where the front strutbar improves feel and stability of turn in, the rear brace gives better feeling of stability and grip of the rear as it follows the front end. Overall, that dull feeling through the steering wheel of a stock XC60 is substantially improved with a front strutbar and rear subframe brace. This means the chassis is definitely a bit loose from factory The brace is pretty easy to install, you don't need to jack up the car, but you will need a breaker bar as the bolts have been fastened extremely tight from factory.
