Def. worth the purchase
By: Vince on 6 April 2022'18 T6 Momentum chassis is way too soft, lots of wallowing on side-2-side weight transfers. Was very annoying as a passenger to feel this thing wallow around like my boat. Following JT's advice; this was installed after FSTB and rear brace. While there's still a little bit of wallowing, I'd say it has been reduced at least 70 - 80 % and I can actually stand to ride in this car now. Install is not too bad but you'll def. need a breaker bar and some type of pipe over said bar for the (2) "big bolts". Other than that, was pretty easy. I highly recommend this product.

XC60(SPA) - T5 AWD - Front Lower Brace
By: JT on 31 August 2021I installed this brace after I installed front strut bar and rear subframe brace, and can feel a similar improvement to what the front strut bar brings by itself. The front end is another step more stable and better feel of front end grip. Install took about 25 minutes at a slow pace. I didn't jack the car up but probably would be easier that way. I give it 4/5 stars as its a good product but could be improved quality wise in two areas: 1. You have to use the supplied Hardrace bolt(7/8") and washer as the Volvo subframe bolt(24mm) has non removable washers that wont fit inside the brace mounting points. The Hardrace supplied bolt and washer look on the cheaper side(generic) compared to the Volvo bolts (high tensile, special metal), so I did have second thoughts about buying a better quality bolt and washer. These subframe bolts are torqued quite high too, but after test driving and re-torque-ing the bolts, ill probably leave it as is. 2. The housing of the mounting points does protrude quite a few CM's from the bottom of the car, so very very minor reduction of clearance behind the front wheels. Hardrace could potentially shave off quite a bit of unused metal without impacting on performance. I'm actually not sure why the bolt housing is so large. 4/5 recommended, probably do strut bar and rear subframe brace first though.
